We promote social cohesion and celebrate humans’ shared universal values.
We are driven by curiosity and fairness, and motivated by compassion and kindness. Our main goal is to improve quality of life and reduce isolation. We offer support right in the heart of local neighbourhoods.
Community Club
BH Community Club brings local people together for social, recreational or educational purposes. Our community club focuses on social welfare and is open to everyone in the local area, including humanists and non-religious people, often operating at low fees or free of charge. We serve as the social heartbeat of our neighbourhood (Bromley and the surrounding areas), helping to strengthen community spirit, reduce isolation, and reinforce the invisible bond that brings people together.
BH Community Club provides a wide range of services and activities designed to improve life for all residents. Our main activities generally fall into four key categories.
Socialising and Community Gatherings: Hosting get-togethers, seasonal celebrations, coffee mornings, lunch clubs, and quiz nights to give people a safe, reliable, and affordable reason to leave the house and meet locals.
Running Low-cost Amenities: These are facilities or complimentary services that improve comfort and convenience in local neighbourhoods, such as toddler groups, youth clubs, or senior-citizen lunch clubs, to support vulnerable residents.
Artistic, Cultural and Creativity Hub: Helping people connect naturally through shared interests or hobbies by offering a space for artistic expression, such as art exhibitions (paintings, sculpting or pottery), creative workshops (writing, painting or knitting), and by organising group activities like book clubs, creative writing or poetry sessions.
Information Hub: Acting as a local hub where residents can find information and be signposted or directed to an expert or organisation that can help solve their problem or support them. This may include sharing raw facts, opening hours, or official leaflets, and directing people to certified (accredited or licensed) third-party experts (qualified professionals or organisations). Of course, we only provide information, not legal, financial, or specialist advice.
