Please Donate, Support Our Work.

It’s only because of the generosity of our supporters that we can defend human rights, uphold decent humanist values and campaign for a better and fairer society.

We now particularly need your support to continue our work, which includes community services, education, and emotional support.

People who donate to humanist causes or support humanism generally say that they choose to give because they want to make life better in the here and now.

Please Donate.

Many supporters of humanism say they want to donate simply for the sake of the community, rather than to please a deity or to secure a place in heaven. They believe in kindness, generosity and decency for their own sake.

Our supporters often quote American author and satirist Kurt Vonnegut (1922-2007), who said that being a humanist means “trying to behave decently without expecting rewards or punishment after you are dead”.

Our donors appreciate that their money goes directly towards helping people, guided by reason and empathy, without seeking to convert anyone or promote a specific religion.

Please donate £10, £20, £30, £40, or any other amount, either as a one-off donation or a monthly contribution, to help us promote rationality, humility, and kindness.
