Where to Find US?
Our meetings are held in the Lovell Room at the United Reform Church (URC), 20 Widmore Road, Bromley, BR1 1RY.
Bromley United Reformed Church (URC) is located in the heart of Bromley town centre, surrounded by major retailers and local services.
URC is situated directly next to The Glades Shopping Centre and the main bus stops on Widmore Road.
🚆 By Train
The church is conveniently located within a short walk of two major rail stations:
Bromley North: Approximately a 4-minute walk (0.2 miles) via Tweedy Road. This station offers step-free access to platforms.
Bromley South: Approximately a 10-minute walk via the High Street. This is a major hub with direct trains from London Victoria (approx. 30 mins) and services from Southeastern and Thameslink.
🚌 By Bus
We are exceptionally well-served by local buses, with several stops located almost directly outside our front door or on nearby Kentish Way. Routes: 61, 119, 126, 138, 146, 162, 208, 227, 246, 261, 269, 314, 320, 336, 352, 354, 358, 367, 638, and the SL3 Superloop.
Key Stop: Bromley / Widmore Road Stop L or R is the closest point for most routes.
🚗 By Car & Parking
The church is easily accessible via the A21 and A222. Please note that on-site parking is extremely limited and generally reserved for church members; room hirers and visitors are advised to use nearby public facilities.
The Glades Car Park: The most convenient option, with an entrance on Glades Place right next to the church building. It has 1,500 spaces and is a 6-minute walk to our main entrance.
Stockwell Close Multi-Storey (formerly Civic Centre): A 6-minute walk away. It offers cheaper rates (approx. £1.50/hr or £7/day) and free parking for Blue Badge holders who register in advance.
Alternative Parking: Other nearby options include Palace Grove (a 4-min walk) and the Sainsbury’s car park (a 7-min walk).
🏢 On-Site Amenities & Accessibility
Full Accessibility: The building and all rooms (including the Chapel and Halls) have level access suitable for all abilities.
Facilities: Accessible toilets are available in the cloakroom area, alongside gendered and gender-neutral facilities.
Community Space: We host Rhiannon’s Café, the Bromley Borough Food Bank, and various community activities.
